Joe Junkin

I am a software developer in Silicon Valley California. I have been developing database applications and user interfaces since 1992. I began using Open Source software in 1996 and switched completely to Open Source in 1997.

I work for a company called http://www.datafree.com. We do consulting work for various clients mostly in the bay area. Our specialties are GIS/Mapping mashups and Real Estate websites. I may or may not be available for your consulting needs, feel free to drop me a line to find out my availablity.

My typical server environment is Linux (currently Fedora), Apache, Ruby, Rails, Perl, Catalyst, MySQL, EMACS, CVS or Subversion and others.

Applications/technologies I work closely with include Wordpress, Googlemaps, YUI (Yahoo User Interface), AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, Ruby on Rails and many more.
